From the onset of communications technology development through the 1990s expanding access to basic communications the digital economy and beyond

Our founders started their journey in unlikely different paths, Daniel as a communications software development in the mid 1980s, back to where the internet was not there yet, nor microsoft windows existed. Alan was a financial analyst for a family business and later on moved onto ICTs. Their faithful meeting was in Africa literally at the birth of the new Millennium, and consequently, the eventual birth of Millennium International Limited. 

Since then the pace of development in information and communications technologies (ICTs) has only accelerated, the need for citizen inclusion has brought policy, regulatory and institutional systems into one common roof. ICTs are today a human right for many people and it has created enormous economic development opportunities.

Now ICTs are emmeshed into every aspect of human development, including climate change and systems optimisation for human and environmental systems. Although we refer to this mostly as the digital economy, it is in fact more than that, it is the digital way of being, where technology assist us humans in making us and our ecosystems better.
